Porn For All!: Australian $84 Million Porn Filter Thwarted By 16-Year-Old - Gizmodo

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
ok
Australia sinks $84-mil into a cool universal online porn filter
30 min after it goes live, a 16 year old cracks it, not only circumventing it, but making the system think it's still active, and working properly, displaying the proverbial "everything-is-a-ok" green light for mom and dad to see.

The Government goes
"oh shit" and spends some more money, and time, and uploads an improved version of the filter.

this time it took him 40 min to do the same thing.

Teenage-Libido's: 2. Gov-pantywaists: 0

of course they issued a statement about, filters can't replace good parentin blah blah.

and they are right. good parenting comes first.
that's why you should have saved yourself $84-million and let the parents do their jobs.

or maybe spend 2-million explain how to use the parental blocking controls already built into EVERY BROWSER ON THE PLANET.

sure even those filters aren't perfect, but then again, they don't cost $84-million in taxpayer money either.
